Hi everyone! The Apron, question is do we wear one or not. I am not sure how long or even when Aprons started being made but I do know my great grandmother started sewing and embroidering her own as early as 1920. Arpons vary in color, size and shape. I started buying aprons for my children when they were about 5. They love to bake cookies, pies, brownies all from scratch so having an apron was a saving grace. I have Aprons from early as 1920 time frame that are functional as they are beautiful. My great grandmother loved to entertain her friends so she created all kinds of aprons to match the Holidays, outfits she was wearing for a dinner party and just plain making biscuits and cooking all day cotton aprons. Aprons serve a purpose when cooking but I believe they can also be a fashion statement in the kitchen. We all want to look good even while cooking.
