Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
Nothing like a peanut butter cookie. This is a classic peanut butter cookie recipe. What warms our hearts like a just baked cookie with a glass of milk? Try it and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 baking soda
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 375. If you have a convection oven place it on that setting
Cream together sugar, brown sugar, butter and eggs (one a time mixing well each time).
In a seperate bowl Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir slightly with a fork or spoon so ingredients get incorporated.
Take the flour mixture and incoporate into creamed mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll into one inch balls and place on parchment line cookie sheet. Take your fork and press slightly making an indention on the cookie, cross fork the other way and then you will make a criss cross pattern.
Bake for 9-12 minutes just until cookie browns. Be careful not to overbake.
